Santa Fe Bio-Ethanol Fireplace

I ordered the Santa Fe Bio-Ethanol Fireplace thinking it was going to be small table top fireplace but I was happily surprised when it arrived. Its actually a little less than 18 inches long and about 14 inches wide. Its design is very elegant, modern, and clean. It looks like a piece of art. The tempered glass serves as its stand while also placing a barrier between the flames and the elements, and the white curved part is made out of metal. It is very sturdy. The burner part is made of Stainless Steel, and it has a vent that opens/closes. The fireplace can get the whole room warm in about 10 minutes. Personally, I love seeing the flames dance, it is actually very relaxing. There isn’t much sound coming from the fireplace but if you pay close attention you can hear a flow like sound. Again, you have to pay attention, be standing right next to the fireplace, and have no other sounds going in order to pick up the noise.

The fireplace is very easy to assemble, my husband did it in about 5 minutes without any other help. It can be place on any flat surface that’s big enough. Also, it is easy to transport but its on the heavy side once the fireplace its put together. The bio-ethanol was easy to find, our retail department store has it available at a low cost at their camping department. The fireplace comes with instructions that are easy to understand, a funnel for pouring the fuel into the burner, and a snuffer which is used to close the vent to turn the fire off. The snuffer has 2 holes on each side that align perfectly with 2 small screws on the metal burner so the flame can be put out at a safe distance. The tempered glass does get really warm, I was able to touch it and not get burnt but be extra careful with curious children. After the fire is put out it takes about 20-30 minutes for the glass to go back to a normal room temperature. We love our Santa Fe fireplace, the ambiance that it provides is unique, very romantic and relaxing.
