Ladies Polyester Bag, Scarf Bag, by Ganz

The pattern and color combination of this bag were the big triggers for me wanting to buy this bag. I had never heard the term scarf bag but curiosity stepped up, so I had to get it. When it arrived I recognized it what it was by the pattern as my husband was removing it from its cellophane bag. He was convinced that it was a silky shirt until I asked him to keep looking. The whole concept of a scarf bag was new as well to him, before realizing that it was a bag he even called it an apron.

This bag has an interesting design, to be honest, to me it looks like a DIY project that had successful results. The silky fabric is made out of is 100% polyester. It has a black lining in the inside that is a blend of polyester and cotton (90%, 10%). The bag is spacious but due to its thin handles I would be concern about packing it with somewhat heavy items as the handles just do not inspire trust of handling too much weight. I feel, and that is what I have been using it for, that the bag is perfect for light clothing articles or as a gym bag. I have chosen to place a towel, and a change of clothes for my toddler to keep in the trunk of my car as every chance he gets he wants to go into the water. I decided this would be the best used because the sides of the bag are also not completely sewn together, there are two holes at each side. I don’t see anything falling from it but I’m paranoid about it anyways. The bag is comfortable to carry but again, keep in mind, that I use it for light stuff.

Overall, I absolutely love the fabric pattern of my bag. The design is a new concept for me, so I cannot compare it to any other similar bag. The part I would change about this bag would be the sizing of the handles for my own peace of mind. I can definitely see this bag being used for travel as a bag within a bag kind of scenario, in case extra space is needed.
