Children's Play Mat and Toy Storage Bag with Shoulder Strap by NKTM

In our house my child, and his father (aka Mr. LMRTFY) are all about their LEGO blocks. They are my very own LEGO Master Builders. With their passion for the blocks also comes the mess of thousand upon thousands of blocks from the smaller LEGO to Duplo to Mega Blocks, they do not discriminate; Neither do small blocks and the bottom of anyone’s feet, theirs included.

Everyone that knows us, knows about their fanaticism. Last December during the Holidays, a friend gifted our son a mat which turns into a storage bag for the LEGO but one bag has turned out not to be enough for them. That is why I decided to give this play mat and toy storage bag a try. It is lightweight, and about 59 inches in diameter. I will be completely honest and mention that both of the boys looked at me crooked when they noticed the mat had flower details on it. But after my son began to play on it, he quickly forgot about the design. The mat is made out of Oxford cloth; It is water repellent. Its care is also easy, it is hand washable only. I find that it cleans nicely with simple cleaning wipes.

The bag uses a drawstring as its closure; The drawstring needs to be pulled until the mat becomes a mat. It is pretty easy to do. In difference to the other mat we have, this one has a shoulder strap or handle which we all wish the other one had as well because it makes transport a lot easier. It is incredible the weight that all those plastic blocks can have. Sadly, it is already too cold to go play at the park as this mat would be great for it. It is pretty much a play and pick up type of dynamic. I like it, keeps most blocks in one place when the boys are in their creative element, and of course, it helps pick all blocks up in less than a minute. The construction of the mat is well done, there are no imperfections.
