Rosemary & Lemongrass Natural Deodorant by Zero Deodorant

My toddler wanted to have his own deodorant as he sees we all have one. I decided to try Zero deodorant because of its all natural ingredients; I ordered two scents: Rosemary & Lemongrass, and Dude. To my surprise both scents smell practically the same; Dude’s scent is more concentrated (stronger) than the Rosemary & Lemongrass one but the smell is the same. As with anything, I decided to try the Rosemary & Lemongrass deodorant before giving it to my son to use. Lemongrass is one of my favorite essential oil scents but in this occasion it simply gave me a horrible headache. It might not be as strong as “Dude” but it still is an overpowering scent. After a few minutes of contact with my skin it became tacky; It actually made me feel stinky. Others around me were able to smell the lemongrass the same way I was smelling it. In words of my husband, “You are like a walking essential oil diffuser”. Yes, that’s how strong the smell is. Needless to say I opted out on the idea of giving it to my toddler as I knew that if I couldn’t handle the smell, he wouldn’t either. The headache that was the result of this trial was borderline migraine like. I was under the impression that because it only has (listed) natural ingredients it would be kid friendly, but after dealing with that headache, the stickiness and the overall smell, there is no way I would give it to any child. My husband suggested we could leave the deodorant, without its cap, in the family’s shoes closet but I’m so scared of having another headache that I declined to try his idea. This deodorant’s smell is simply way too overpowering. Definitely, not a product for us at all.

Yes, that is my trash can.
I wouldn't wish that headache on anyone.

TSA Approved Combination Padlocks, Set of 2, by Puroma

My husband is all about security when it comes to his phone but at his office for confidentiality reasons personal phones are not accepted during some of the meetings he has to attend. He does not trust the locker locks provided because the locks are not assigned to a particular person so after some headaches and complaints I decided to get him a combination padlock for those occasions. This set comes with two padlocks, a silver and a black one; Both are identical and need the same process to unlock them and reset. It does not come with English instructions but this listing provides the simple steps to unlock and reset. Also, if you have ever set a combination padlocks it is the same simple logic. To unlock, set the numbers to “0” at the side of the lock where there is an arrow, the numbers have to be aligned, then pull the shackle. After that you are free to create whatever number combination and set as your code.

Altogether, these padlocks have a bit of weight to it and are of good quality. It says it is TSA approved for those who want to use it on luggage to travel. My husband does not have any complaints about its performance.

Music Note Silicone Pastry Mold by Mujaing

We do homeschooling for our toddler, and we are always searching for ways to help him use his creativity, and explore it. This pastry mold has been great for him to learn all the different things he could make out of his play clay. Before he would just make little balls, or flatten it out on the table but since we gave him this mold he was able to understand that he could do much more. This mold allows for the play clay (which has a similar consistency as fondant) to get the shape of the music notes easily. When we noticed the small cavity for “music” we were sure it would not work but we were proven wrong. Not only did it work, its details looked amazingly clear. This mold is thick; In my experience with melted chocolate and candy, it does not seem to be made for that kind of molding as its thickness does not give it the flexibility as a thin silicone mold would when popping out its contents. These musical notes are delicate, we frankly do not see chocolate being able to pop out of this without breaking. However, other pastry mediums that are pliable (like the clay) should have no big issues. As the photos will show, our four year old is an expert playing with the mold, which by the way, has allowed him to expand his play with the clay beyond just simple shapes. He knows understands he can form whatever he wishes out of it, and has began making clay people with better details after the mold’s results showed him it is possible.

Overall, while we are using this pastry mold for an alternative use, arts and crafts, it really does show that it would work with the cake decorating because of the viscosity of the material. This mold is made out of good quality silicone. Our son really likes that once the mold is on a flat surface it won’t move unless it is picked up, it will not slide around the table when he is playing with it. If your use the mold depends on the kitchen, this mold can withstand freezing temperatures (-40) and also heat (445) Fahrenheit. We have no complaints, it is one of our son’s go to molds when crafting because it always allows him to have perfect shapes from it. It is non stick, dishwasher safe, and BPA free.

Women's Spring Plaid Pattern Short Sleeve Dress by Elf Sak

This is such a beautiful dress; I’m in love with its print, and colors. It definitely has a vintage feel all over. Just looking at the dress I feel younger, and playful. The dress is short but if that is uncomfortable it will look great with tights or leggins as well. It has a lose fitting over all, its baggy at the bottom. My issues with the dress are about its chest measurements; I ordered XXL because the listing says the best of the dress is 43.31 inches but, but my 42 bust was completely flatten out by the dress. If it was not for that problem the dress would have been perfect because the rest of the dress fits nicely. Luckily, it fit my friend beautifully and it ended up being her birthday present, her bust is 38 inches. Overall, this dress is a mix of vintage with whimsical. It has a very charming design that at the same time has the power to make a bold fashion statement.

Bunny Shaped Pencil Pen Case by StyleToHave

My husband who is all about technology likes to make fun of the fact that I’m “old school” when it comes to certain things like lists. I prefer pen and paper over any computer document or email. I like to make lists with my own handwriting because that is the only way for me to remember it. My issue is that I’m always misplacing my pens, and I happen to be very picky when it comes to pen. Now, with my bunny case it is way easier to locate my pens at all times. It is visible, stands out and even if I misplace it someone else in the household is bound to find it. The bunny is super soft, adorable, and beyond cute. I have a couple of my favorite pens in the case, and there is plenty of space for more. It has a loop at the top that allows me to hang it from anywhere I want which is very convenient for my forgetful mind. The bunny’s face has three buttons that form its eyes and nose, and black thread for its mouth. It has a cute pink hoodie shirt with a bunny on it and the word, “Kaqiqi”. It also has hands and feet; The only thing missing that I wish it had is a bunny tail. The back of case has a pink plastic zipper that is the length of the “body” of the bunny (neck to feet). Inside it has a white liner that protects the bunny’s fabric from the contents placed inside it. All in all, this bunny pencil case is very charming, and spacious for its size. Rubbing the bunnies super soft ears has become somewhat of a stress reliever for me, and that was completely unexpected.

Manual Can Opener, Anti-Slip Design, by Belinix

I had enough of our electric can opener, it would get jammed and cleaning it was a pain itself. After some consideration I decided I was going to go back to the basics of a manual can opener. This can opener is ergonomic which was the most important thing out of the design part that I wanted. It is made out of Stainless Steel, it has some weight to it. This can opener I find it very easy to use because of its big knob; The grip of the handle is also easy on the hands as it is made out of soft silicone. I find it easier to clean and to keep clean. It also comes with a bonus of a key chain bottle opener which I keep in the kitchen as well.

Effortless

Overall, this can opener does it job easily and effectively. It works very smoothly, there is no jamming or the need to add extra muscle when opening a can. It can open any time of cans, regardless of its size without any problems. It is a heavy duty tool, that is made well.
