Sadly, we are not that much into vegetables, but we do love fruits, and by “we” I mean our toddler. He will sit down
and eat a whole bowl of fruits by himself, if allowed, but he does not care for the skin of any fruit. I was using my potato peeler but the handle would just hurt my hand all the time. Bovado’s Rapid Peeler allows me to
be faster when peeling apples, and kiwis without wasting time readjusting my grip on the handle because it is a wider design that allows for more control of the tool, and a better grip. The handle is made out of plastic which
helps provide that better grip that I was looking for. It is relatively comfortable; Way more comfortable that my former alternative. It can be washed in the dishwasher but I choose to wash it by hand after each use to make
sure the Swiss steel blade is completely clean before storing away. The peeler also has a “potato eye remover” which also comes handy when removing imperfections from apples.
Overall, this peeler has helped me be more efficient when it comes to peeling my son’s favorite fruits. It has allowed
me to do it faster than how I was doing it before. In our kitchen, Bovado’s rapid peeler works as designed, and I have not found anything I would change about it. It does the job, every time; That is why I rate it at a 5
stars.
