My husband is the coffee drinker of the house, and recently he decided he wanted to go back to basics. He ditched his fancy coffee pods electric machine for a French press. Since then he has been tasting organic coffee beans that he loves to grind. His favorite coffees come from Colombia, and Thunder Bolt was not the exception, he really likes it. I bought him the 1 LB. Package of Thunder Bolt, and he used it as soon as it arrived. He likes its taste but did mentioned he had to add extra coffee to receive the boldness in flavor that he likes. I see that as a con since it means he will go through the coffee bag faster, that is why I give it a 4. Otherwise, he likes the flavor, and I love the aroma of freshly pressed Thunder Bolt coffee. The freshness of the beans is what makes this coffee so delicious.
