Let me just start by saying that this Salt Lamp is beautiful, and once its lit it is stunning. I find that the light it emits its very relaxing, and it also sets the mood for everyone to be relaxed as well who is in the house. The lamp is about 7.5 inches, and it was an elegant wood base; It is very sturdy. It has a unique shape as according to the description its handcrafted out of Himalayan Rock Crystals. I love the rusticity of the lamp’s shape because it goes with its organic look. The lamp also has a dimmer which allows me to control how much light I want it to produce.

I had been wanting a Salt Lamp for a while as I had read about its air purifier qualities which help with allergies; I have allergy issues as well as mild asthma so anything I can do to improve my environment is worth a try.
