The first thing that caught my attention about this set of color pencils was its environmentally friendliness which is very
important for our household. My toddler fell in love with the box right away, and claimed the set as his. I like the peace of mind of knowing that my son is using color pencils that are non toxic for his health. He still learning
how to handle a pencil, and this set is comfortable for him to grip. He is also mesmerized with all the vibrant colors, and its variety.
Originally, the pencils were for myself but I found a flaw, the pencils are not erasable so I find it hard to blend colors.
Also, some colors have to be pressed hard in order for it to show nicely, and I did not wanted to mess up my adult coloring books with it. While coloring with my son, I do occasionally use a few of the colors because the bright
ones are beautiful. The set has 24 colors. Neither the box or the pencils mention the names of the colors which would have been nice since I’m using it also to teach my son about the variety of colors and their names. It
comes with some down-loadable coloring pages which I do love.
Overall, its a good set for children or for someone who occasionally likes to color. I believe the pressing to get certain
colors is something that someone who colors regularly as a hobby won’t like or appreciate because it does hurt the paper; With that said, I would recommend the set to others.
