This lantern might be compact in size but its sure bright. The lantern is made out of ABS plastic, it is waterproof, and
super lightweight. It requires four AA batteries which are not included. As soon as our son saw it, he decided it would look best at his pretend play tool bench; He had been saying he needed a light for it because he had noticed
that my husband has a lantern like light next to his bench in the garage. We arrived to an agreement that when the LED lantern is not in use outside the house, he can keep it at his bench. I allowed that because the quality
of the lantern. I feel completely comfortable with my toddler playing with it because it is completely made out of plastic, and if it was to break he won’t cut himself but I highly doubt it would break because of how resistant
the plastic feels. We plan on doing one weekend of camping this Summer, it would be our first, and I’m sure this LED lantern will be perfect for it. Overall, don’t let the small size fool you; It is very bright, it illuminates
360 degrees, and it is waterproof. The lantern is well made, and I can see it being in use years from now if we give it the right care.
