BPA Free Silicone 12 Muffin Pan by Boston Sweets

In our household we love baking, and this silicone mold has been a great addition to our kitchen. We like to prepare “egg muffins” as weekend breakfasts but I was using a metal cupcake mold which we had to grease excessively in order to get the egg to be released in one piece. We have tried this silicone muffin pan for it and it was perfect. The silicone released the the muffins without damaging it, and it was an easy process as well. This non stick silicone mold is flexible, so just a few taps on the right places and it releases its content right away; We still do add a bit of baking spray but nothing as we had to do for the metal mold. It is sturdy enough to be place on the oven rack without any other oven tool needed; We used to have a silicone mold that would almost collapse if it didn’t had a flat surface at all times, that is not the case with this one.

Another thing we love about this mold is how quick I can clean it, and we mean, really clean it. No residues left at all after each use unlike metal molds that start changing colors. We tend to wash it right after its use by hand, but since it is heat resistant it can be washed in the dishwasher without any issues. We have no complaints about this mold at all as our main issue was getting nice looking muffins, and this mold allows us to achieve that without stress. The silicone mold has 12 cups, and it is BPA free. It can be used in the freezer as it is capable of handling temperatures from -40 degrees to 450 degrees. So it is versatile, and can be used for many different things not only for baking or in the kitchen. Overall, we really like this mold, and would have no issues recommending it to others. It is a big mold, so expect regular size muffins out of it.
