Scratch Travel Map with Coin and 229 Travel Related Stickers by Travel Inspired

One of our toddler’s interests since we began homeschooling has been maps, and countries. He wants to know where every country is, their continent and their name. So when we came across this scratch travel map we instantly had the idea of using the map for learning while fueling his curiosity. For now he is just learning the continents, but once he has learned those we will move into learning a bit about each country. Then, before moving into the next country, our son will have the opportunity to scratch the country we have studied. Knowing our son, we are sure he will have a blast and will want to keep learning.

This travel map comes rolled in a cylinder and inside a box which is perfect storage and protection for it. It is 34.6 per 2-.5 inches. The map comes with 229 travel related stickers which we will be using as rewards as we cover each country. The stickers have animals, landmarks, flags, photographs and miscellaneous images associated with traveling. While we are using the map as an aid for our son’s learning, it could be used for all sorts of circumstances. Mr. LMRTFY liked the idea so much that asked for his own map for our home office, he wants it as decor, when I mentioned that I had order the map for our child's homeschooling. This map even includes a coin for scratching out the countries, so it is a complete kit.

However, there are several misspelling horrors in this world map, just to mention a few that caught my eye: Puerto Rico is spelled Puerto Ricos, Virgin Islands is spelled Vergen Islands and Macedonia is spelled Marcedonia. Needless to say that I will be using a black permanent marker to fit the errors as I will still like to use it for homeschooling. I will also pay extra attention that the flags, and capital cities are right.
