I will be the first one to accept that I might be a bit paranoid when it comes to the safety of my family. We are fairly new to the Midwest winters, and I do not like to take
any chances with it. I have made a kit that my husband keeps in the car that even includes emergency blankets for everyone in our family. Last winter we added a paracord bracelet to the set but Mr. LMRTFY wanted a more complete
set for emergencies.
Needless to say that he was very happy when I presented him with this paracord emergency kit because all its components would be extremely useful during an emergency. The paracord key-chain has a lint (fire-starter), a small (looks like a toy) compass, a tiny but loud whistle, and a mini scraper with bottle opener and ruler, at first sight. Inside the paracord key-chain there are more useful tools! The bracelet contains: an alcohol pad, a finish line, two floats, two hooks, a snap hook, two swivels, and two weights. The kit is very complete, perfect for emergencies of every kind. We both like the compact size of the kit as a whole as we do not want it to take much space in the trunk. This set also offers an eBook with some useful information on survival and using the tools provided.
The overall quality of the paracord emergency kit looks and feels very nice; Good quality. It is compact, and everything is attached inside or outside the paracord key ring which makes it incredibly convenient. I hope we never have to use it but the peace of mind it gives us to know that we have access to it just in case, its calming. This kit would be great for any outdoor person, or for any driver regardless of the weather.
