My husband has a nice assortment of wood watches due to some of his allergies, and to the fact that most wood watches simply are stunning. This Sandalwood and Maple watch is
not the exception, in fact, it is my favorite one from the ones he has. The swirl details around the dial of the watch are beautiful, and definitely catch everyone’s eye. The color combination of brown and beige looks very
nice, it makes the watch memorable. The watch itself is very lightweight. It is made out of Maple wood and red natural Sandalwood, with silver details (like the hours, dial etc) and glass face. The watch is hypoallergenic
because of the wood but take into consideration that its latch closing mechanism is not and it does have direct contact with the skin, beware of it if you are getting this gorgeous watch mainly because of allergy issues. The
band was slightly big for my husband’s wrist but he was able to remove one of the links easily, so the band is re-sizable if needed. It has a light Sandalwood scent to it that smells really nice, it is not overpowering but
it is noticeable for the first week or so.
Overall, my husband really likes his newest watch. His first reaction when I gave it to him was, “This watch is awesome!” I’m happy to report he still saying how awesome
it is to anyone who asks or compliments his watch. It is stylish, and elegant. It can be wore with a nice suit or simply with jeans. The only thing that seems to be an enigma is if the watch is at least water resistant, we
have search and have not found any information at all regarding this issue. Other than this, the watch works as expected and as designed.
