Mini Power Bank with Retractable Mini USB Cable and Laser Pointer by Bestek

Our little family of three is always searching for new adventures to do together, so it was no surprised that after not much thinking we jumped into the crazy world of Pokemon Go hunting. What can I say, we really like it. It is one activity that doesn’t really has an age and that us as adults can do and have fun with out four year old. The biggest problem that we encountered right away was our phones dying one after the other. Luckily, I had a power bank that was just a paper weight on my desk for months but my husband and child didn’t had any. We visited several big box stores searching for some inexpensive power banks just to discovered due to the game they were completely out of it, the whole state had none in stock. Our next step was Amazon.

My husband tried this mini power bank for a few days but he found it to be too bulky for his key-chain and pockets, and he did not care for the retractable micro USB cable. Once he needed the extra charge he discovered that it would not support his phone, his phone rang out of battery while being plugged to the charged power bank. It might had elongated the phone’s life for about five extra minutes if so, his phone is a Nexus. As we had lunch he plugged his phone and we could see its percentage going down instead of going up or even staying at the same. Before losing all our hope, we decided to try it with our toddler’s phone, one of our old Samsung Galaxy 4. With this phone, the charger worked so much better. It kept the charge of the phone at a decent level, and slowly (very slow) the phone’s percentage began to go up by a bit.

The mini power bank is about 2.5 inches long, and has a retractable micro USB cable which is perfect as our son remembers to take the power bank with him but wouldn’t remember about any cables. It has a red light that turns green but when the phone is charging there are no other signs of it other than the phone’s charge information itself. For some unknown reason, this charger has a laser light. We find it to be completely unnecessary, and it affects how we deal with the power bank as we do not want our toddler playing with it for health and security reasons. In the other hand, when our son is not around my husband amazes himself by flashing the laser around to see the cats go crazy.
