We do a lot of baking in our household, it is something we enjoy to do as a family. As soon as this mold arrived my toddler said he wanted
to make cornbread muffins. So after a wash, he put this 12 cup silicone cupcake mold to the test. If you like recipes, you should be aware that there are some on the back of the mold’s label. The mold is made out of food
grade silicone. It is a regular size mold which will produce average size muffins or cupcakes, not little ones. The mold is non stick but every time we use it we do spray a bit non stick baking spray just out of habit. Also,
we use a metal tray underneath the backing pan because the silicone is a little wobbly but we believe that is what we trade for an easy to remove baked good. We have used it for baking cornbread and for egg muffins, and every
time we are able to pop out the baked muffins without much effort. The mold gets cool really fast which is perfect since our toddler always wants to help with baking, and wants to be the first to try out the results. Cleaning
the pan is super easy, it can be placed on the top rack of the dishwasher or it can be hand washed with soapy water. We really like the adaptability of this mold as it can be used in the oven (up to 450 degrees), microwave
or even freezer; It won’t stain either. It is definitely our son’s favorite mold as he knows it allows him to help after the baking is done because it won’t stay hot for a long time. The mold is also super easy to store
because it does not need any special care. Overall, it is a great quality mold which we expect to last for a long time.
