Square Sail Sun Shade by RainLeaf

We will be moving soon and the new place has a beautiful backyard with a bit of a shade issue. There is barely any shade in the backyard which almost jeopardized our decision to go ahead with the place. Luckily, my husband remembered that in Florida one of the big theme parks uses sun shade sails to give people a place to rest away from the sun. This sun shade sail by RainLeaf is quite big at 16 by 16 inches it will provide shade to a good portion of our soon to be backyard.

This sun shade is made out of HDPE plastic which is lightweight but strong. It is weather resistant yet it allows the wind to go through it. This material is also mildew and mold resistant making it perfect for our intended use. It will block up to 95% of the sun light, and won’t collect water as it is not waterproof. It comes with four Stainless Steel “D” rings, one at each corner. The stitching on our sunshade looks perfect; It is a well made shade. Its shape is what is known as a “square sail” which means that the corners are not 90 degrees. We will be attaching it to the back of the house, and extending it all the way out to two poles which we will install for it. Overall, we are excited about the opportunity of enjoying our new backyard without having sunburn after it. The material is tough. We took it out of its storage bag to check it and there were no imperfections. We will update our review if any issues arise while and after installing it.
