Baby's Fist Year Memory Book, Boys Winter Edition, by Unconditional Rosie

I kept postponing making a baby book for my son out of the fear of realizing that he was no longer a “baby” but since people kept asking about it, I finally decided to make one. Luckily, I have all the photos of his firsts, notes, and everything I could keep of his first year. It helps that I have been taking photos of him daily, he is now four years old. I was immediately drawn to this book in specific because my son loves snow since he was a baby. He was born in Florida but six months later we moved to the Midwest just in time for Winter. This book is well made, it is spiral bound which I feel is perfect for a book that I expect it to be browse a lot. One of the things that I love about the book is that its hard cover has a matte finish, I don’t know why but I prefer this time of finish on books and photos because it seems like higher quality. The book is beautiful and spot on, it has spaces for photos of all those big achievements reached. It even has a set of stickers with milestones named. It is a great way, an organized one, to keep and track all those special moments of our babies’ first year. The whole book is Winter themed, it depicts winter scenes, and adorable animals. It also includes a small genealogy tree as well as a list of different “favorite things” of the first twelve months. Perhaps it is the fact that I have avoided making a baby book, but I find the book extremely emotional just to browse and that is without any photos on it yet. It also has a section for first Holidays, and finally, their first scribble.

Altogether, this book is adorable, beautifully put together. I wish there were a few pages that were not labeled because there are milestones that for our family are/were important that are not named, and I’m sure the same will be said of other families but I’m sure I will find a creative way of adding those moments into the book. This book would be perfect for someone who wants to remember the special milestones without having to devote a lot of time into the making of a book as it lists most of the moments that you should be aware of, and photograph.
