Since I was a child we always had Castile bar soaps in the house as my father believe that olive oil was the cure for everything. I still love Castile, and use it in a daily
basis but I have never thought about using it in its liquid form. This Unscented Castile soap by Cove, for my household, is different as it is unscented which for a moment made me doubt of how effective it would be but it
was all in my mind as the soap works as expected. The soap has no chemicals, and it is cruelty free, something that it is very important in our household. It is made with only organic ingredients making it Vegan friendly as
well as biodegradable and Eco-friendly. Made in the USA, not just bottled.
I have been using this soap as a face wash and a body wash for my toddler because it leaves the skin feeling refresh. The back of the bottle has some simple recipes for some
of the many uses that can be given to this unscented Castile soap. It can be use as a hand wash, fruit/vegetable wash, dish wash, pet shampoo, facial cleanser, or even laundry detergent, just to mention a few of the ideas
given. I love how practical the recipes are and how easy is to just turn the bottle to find them, no need of keeping a piece of paper that will get lost, wet or simply ignored.
Altogether, this is a great base soap. As I stated I use it as a face cleanser, and as a body wash for my son; My husband has even expressed interest in using it as a shaving soap because he sees how soft my face feels after its use. It comes in a convenient one liter bottle which with the help of the recipes provided lasts a good while. The only thing I wish was different was the top, a dispenser pump would be great but it is just a want, a personal like, that does not compromises the quality or the effectiveness of this soap. It also allows me to continue this family believe that links olive oil to healthiness.
