Inflatable Bathtub / Mini Swimming Pool for Kids, by L&FY

This inflatable bathtub/mini swimming pool has been my “mom win” for the summer. Our toddler loves to go to the pool but sometimes there are teens who are a bit reckless or we are simply too tired to deal with the stress that involves going to the pool with an energetic child. This tub, which we refer too as the “little pool”, the area that will hold the water is 27.5 x 17.7 x 11 inches which is pretty big, the outside of it is 38.5 x 25.5 x 11 inches. The description says that it can be use for babies and toddlers from 0 to 4 years old. Personally, I believe it is way too big for a baby, if the baby cannot sit by himself (herself) I would not use this as a tub. In the other hand, my husband believe that because it has the “crutch holder” that prevents the baby or child from sliding, it should be fine. What he refers to is a bump on the bottom of the tub that is design to prevent a baby or child from sliding when sitting. The holder is an optional thing to fill with air, since our child is older we do not fill it up as it would be in his way.

This tub comes with a manual air pump to assist in filling, in our case my husband used an electric pump which worked fine. It has four different air inputs: back, crotch, support, and the tub itself; There is also a drain plug which is located at the bottom of the tub. The tub is made out of non toxic thick PVC. There is a pocket on the left side which can be used for a liquid soap bottle, or in our case, to hold our toddler’s drink. At the bottom of the tub there is a loop made out of the same PVC that can be used for storage. Since we use it as a pool, it is easy to clean by hosing it off. Our son is 4 years old and fits nicely inside the tub, and has plenty of space for his water toys. This tub is not flimsy at all, our son lays on it, and jumps around while in it without any lost of water or air. On the inside of the tub there is even a line that indicates how much water to place in the tub.

Overall, we are all thrilled with this mini swimming pool. It is super convenient, and, since we use it for fun, it saves water as we do not have to fill up the bathtub when he wants to just play with or in water. It also allows us all to get some fresh air as we always place the it on our deck, and sit next to it while our son plays with his water toys. We have had a lot of laughter, and giggles while watching our son have fun. We have no complaints about this tub/mini swimming pool, it has solved our issue of wanting to stay home after a hectic day without having to deny our son of some outside water fun. Please, never leave any child regardless of their age without supervision in this or any tub.
