Plastic Safety Scissors for Children, Set of 6, by COOKA

We do homeschooling for our four year old, so school supplies are always in big demand all year around. We also host a lot of play-dates that involve arts and crafts. Our son is also still in the process of learning how to handle a pair of scissors; He is the first left-handed in our family so we are all learning with him, and because of it safety has been our main concern.

This set of six plastic safety scissors comes individually wrapped, and in three vibrant colors (two blue, two pink and two orange). We have ran our fingers on the borders of the scissors (what acts as the blade) and it does not hurt, cut or feel sharp at all; The safety edge is definitely child friendly. Amazingly, it still cuts paper as expected out of a good pair of scissors. Our son simply loves these scissors. We had bought him scissors before that ended up broken within hours, or that after a few hours he refused to use again because of how complicated holding the scissors were for him. The holes for the fingers are big, and it does not matter how he chooses to handle the scissors he is comfortable with it. When we are doing arts and crafts with him, we also use plastic safety scissors so he sees that he can do whatever we do because we are all using the same tools. These scissors even feel comfortable when we are using them. Overall, we are happy with the quality of these scissors as well as their performance.
