Rechargeable Mini Dehumidifier, by GERO

Our master closet always smells damp, the only way to effectively remove some of the humidity has been with silica packs but our cat has an appetite for it. We decided to give this mini dehumidifier a try. It works but since it is “mini” it is not as effective as the silica packs but that was something we knew when we ordered and something we are fine with as it keeps the silica beads away from our mischievous cat. It covers an area of up to 340 cubic feet, and it comes with a hook that makes it very easy for us, as we simply hang it next to our clothes. We like that it makes silica a reusable option. We keep wondering what does the dehumidifier does with the water it removes from the air. When the crystals are blue its dry and it is ready, and when its pink it means its time to recharge the dehumidifier. It is recommended that the dehumidifier be unplugged when it is not charging.

Overall, it is definitely a safer option for those of us who like the use of the silica crystals to control humidity. There are some things about the design that we do not care for much like we find the power cord to be too short, also it cannot be removed. Other than that we have no other complaints about it as until now it works as expected. We will update if anything changes.
