After some brainstorming on ways that could help my iron levels improve naturally, my doctor suggested changing our cooking
pans into cast iron ones. I have a somewhat rare type of anemia, and my system does not tolerate iron supplements, pills or even infusions. Essentially I’m allergic to iron but as everyone else, I need it. So, following
the doctor’s recommendations we have been adding cast iron pots and pans to our kitchen. According to him, when cooking on cast iron the food receives
some of that iron which then is ingested when we eat it. It has not been a magic cure by any means, I still get sick after eating but it is not as bad as when I was attempting the iron pills or supplements.

Altogether, this cast iron pan not only offers an impressive and professional level cookware, it also helps improve the
health of some that like me need every little bit of iron ingestion we can get. If given proper care, this pan can last for a very long time. We have no complaints about it, and are very happy with it. We also appreciate the
literature provided.
