Twister Tracks Trax 360 Loop, 15 ft Neon Track with 2 LED Sports Cars Series by Mindscope

We celebrate our son’s “half birthdays” and for this year we decided to give him this tracks set as he is all into cars. Previous to giving it to him, we tried the tracks to make sure it would be safe for him which we decided it were. It is easy to assemble, the only part that needs a bit of a mild pressure every time its set up is the loop but nothing that an adult cannot do. The first our son noticed was that the lights of the cars reflect on the translucent tracks, I think its one of his favorites features of this set if not his favorite. It comes with two cars that have a clear under body which shows the lights as it moves on the tracks; It requires two AAA batteries which are not provided. If your child loves it as much as ours, we would recommend rechargeable batteries as it does drain batteries fairly quick. The cars move after pressing a button that is located on top of each one, and keep moving until the same button its pressed.

Overall, we all like these tracks because of its bright colors and overall performance. We love that it is an expandable set that we can keep adding as our son grows; It is also an easy gift for any occasion as we knows he likes it and can add it to his existing track. The cars come with a note that serves as a reminder to keep hair away from the car because it can be a tangled, something that should be obvious but we do appreciate. Our son is four years old (4.5!), and is always supervised while playing. We agree with the age recommendation of three years and older, once again, with supervision. We have not had any issues when it comes to the safety of the tracks and cars and  our son. The cars could use some improvement but we see that as adults, our son is perfectly happy with how the cars work on the tracks.

So we appreciate the warning but as the parents of a long hair boy
we find the depiction a bit sexist.
No worries, he is too young to understand that,
plus he did not see the warning.
