There has been some debate in our household about this adorable ukulele. We bought it initially for our toddler who loves all sorts of musical instruments but when
it arrived Mom fell in love with the ukulele. So there is a debate about who it belongs to. The 21” blue ukulele comes with convenient accessories like: two plastic picks, extra nylon cords, clip on tuner, cleaning cloth
and storage bag for the ukulele itself. The ukulele is made out of thin Basswood with a hardwood fret-board, and has a high gloss finish; It is very lightweight, perfect for children.
Mom is a children’s Professional Photographer, and took the ukulele to be used as a prop during a photo shoot. To her surprise the father of the child knew how
to play it. He tuned it, or attempted too. He even use the clip on tuner and could not get it to tune in completely.
Overall, the ukulele looks great but if you want it for perfect sound, be aware that it was impossible to achieve. As a toy it is great as it has allowed my son
to figure out how to properly hold it, and also allows him to be silly and look cute at the same time. As a prop it works perfectly as it is visually stunning and kids (and their parents) simply love it. It has been a good
way to introduce our son to a cord instrument and as result now he wants a guitar. We are giving it a 4 stars because we have found an alternate use for it as a photo prop, other than as a toy for our son. Again, if you are
looking for quality sound, remember that it does have challenges when it comes to tuning.
