As it is with most things that are bought online, the color of these cases is a bit different than what I had anticipated based on the photos. The color is lighter, not by much
but enough to be noticed. As a Professional Photographer, I’m aware that the color discrepancies are due to the use of flash, and monitor resolutions so I’m okay with the color not showing as I had imagined. This set comes
with two 18” x 18” soft 100% cotton pillow covers. Each cover has a zipper which is almost hidden; The zippers handles are my only concern about these cases as it seem flimsy and delicate. The border of the cases are reinforced
with its discreet piped edging. Its stitching is well made, and adds to the simple beauty of these covers. Before placing the covers, I did machine washed them because I’m very picky with smells, and the cases did had a
bit of a plastic smell (I believe its from the bag that the cases came in); The cases did great in the washer.
All in all, I mainly got these covers because of its hypoallergenic protection as in our house everyone is always sneezing. These covers are being used at our “adult time out”
couch which is were we can just go sit, relax and unwind from daily stresses, so comfort was not negotiable, and these cases are indeed comfortable.
